Rare stoneware ivory glazed bowl by Ellen Malmer for Royal Copenhagen. Curved square form with clover shaped inner bowl. Produced sometime between 1969 - 1973. Very different from her other work and either produced in limited quantities or not put into production.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Ellen Malmer (b. 1942-) Is a Danish ceramicist, designer and artist. She worked as a designer at Royal Copenhagen from 1965 until 1988 as part of the group working with Nils Thorsson producing the iconic Baca and Tenera series. She has also worked as an artist in textiles, collage and painting.
