Carl-Harry Stålhane Vase for Rörstrand

Midcentury stoneware vase by Carl-Harry Stålhane in grey-brown and blue hare’s fur matte glaze. A modern and minimal form in a rare model (SNK) produced in the 1950s by Stålhane for Rörstrand. A classic representation of Stålhane’s distinctive style.

MARKINGS:

Incised R for Rörstrand and three crowns with initials of artist CHS. Also incised with model number SNK.

DIMENSIONS:

• Height:  19 cm  /  7.5 in.
• Width:  6 cm  /  2.4 in.

CONDITION:

Very good vintage condition. No chips, cracks or crazing. This vase has a scratch, see image 3.
